Many bloggers often use tags in their blog posts for various reason. I also use tags in my own blog posts. For me using tags in blog posts gives visitors an opportunity to navigate within the site rather quickly without spending much time looking for something. Using tags makes the blog a little user friendly. Tags help visitors find topics of interest fast and save a lot time as a result. A fairly new website owner recently asked me this question. Is a blog important for a website? It is an interesting question because I see many websites rank very well in search results even without a blogs. However, looking broadly I see many advantages of having a blog together with your website.
