Since then, these phones have come a long way which brings us to today where apple recently launched the most latest iPhone called the iPhone 4S, which the company is claiming to be the most amazing iPhone yet.
IPhone 4S – what it has to offer:
Launched in start of October 2011, this iPhone was not as openly welcomed as perhaps the company expected. However this had nothing to do with the phone itself. It was an assumption that a simple ‘s’ added to the name meant that only a few updates had been made in the previous model and no other changes. However, when people got to know what the iPhone 4S smartphone had to offer, it indeed did sell in vast numbers. To start with, the body of the phone has not been remodeled. Maybe that’s why only an ‘S’ was added to the name rather than changing the entire number. However there are significant changes in other things of the phone. Read the rest of this entry

Windows Phone 7 Phones vs. iPhone 4
Written by Masood Rushdee under Gadgets on Wednesday, October 13, 2010
Microsoft recently unveiled the portfolio of smartphones based on the new Windows Phone 7 operating system to take on the iPhone 4 and the Android army. The new Windows phone has some interesting features certainly none of the other has. With many phones in the market, one would wonder what are the interesting features the new phone has got. I have collected data from various sources to compile the following list of difference we have with Windows Phone 7 vs. iPhone 4.
- Display resolution is 480 by 800 pixels on all of the Windows Phone 7 devices, putting them on a par with the Droid X and the T-Mobile G2. The iPhone 4, with its 3.5-inch display still boasts the highest pixel density and the largest resolution in this comparison.
- Windows Phone 7 devices come with a 5-megapixel camera, with a flash. All of the cameras can record video, too, and on the HTC devices you get HD (720p) video capture, as on the iPhone and Android phones. The only U.S.-bound Windows Phone 7 device with a front-facing camera for handling video calls is the Samsung Focus.
- Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 OS lacks such functionality as copy/paste and multitasking–features that rivals like Apple took their time to implement but now do have on the market.
- Windows Phone 7 has very limited apps available currently in comparison, Apple has over 270,000 apps
iPad Negatives – What is missing?
Written by Masood Rushdee under Gadgets on Monday, April 05, 2010
Since its launch a few days ago, iPad has been the most talked gadget currently. While it is beautifully designed and contains many useful features, I feel some key features are missing.
- Camera – Omission of a camera in my opinion is a huge mistake. The iPad would be perfect for snapping and sharing photos with others, and for videoconferencing with friends and family.
- Universal Mail Inbox - People with several email accounts would find a little frustrated by the lack of unified inbox. To view e-mails from another account, you have to back out of the inbox you’re viewing, then go to the other account’s inbox.
- You can’t open a bunch of windows spread across the screen. You can’t save files locally. The “Office” suite is lackluster for multi-document use. There’s no DVD drive.
- Email Attachments Are Trapped in Your Mailbox – You can’t view any mail attachments outside the iPhone’s e-mail app. The same holds true for the iPad.
- Built-in USB – lack of USB port is is another factor
- Blown-up iPhone Apps Aren’t Anti-aliased – As you may already know, the iPad can run all existing iPhone apps; you can run them at their iPhone-size in the center of your screen, or blown up to fill the screen. Unfortunately, Apple does nothing to smooth out the apps, so text and images look chunky.
